Anthony Kappes and pilot rider Barney Storey secured Britain's fourth cycling gold medal of the Paralympic Games in Beijing on Monday.

The duo powered to victory in the men's B&VI one-kilometre time-trial at the Laoshan Velodrome in a world-record time of one minute 2.864 seconds.

Simon Richardson, Darren Kenny and Aileen McGlynn - with her tandem pilot rider Ellen Hunter - have already clinched gold medals in the velodrome, while swimmer Sascha Kindred prevailed in the National Aquatics Center on day one.
